The first series of Inside 361 comes to a close as Ryan Green’s engineering team installs heating pipework at the Royal and Derngate Theatre in Northampton.
A new building management system caters for different temperature requirements in different spaces, so staff can make guests as comfortable as possible throughout the building. There was no need to disrupt the performance schedule, as 361 Degrees engineers prepared the pipe sections and valves in advance to save time on site.
One of Ryan’s main tasks is to clean the face of the existing gate valve. Taking shortcuts here could mean the system leaks, so it’s thoroughly tested before the commissioning process gets underway.
