There are plenty of ways to tackle air conditioning installations. Many companies want their air conditioning to be a silent partner, not seen and not heard.
There are plenty of ways to tackle air conditioning installations. Many companies want their air conditioning to be a silent partner, not seen and not heard.
However, sometimes 361 Degrees work alongside a contractor or client who wants to show the beauty of a well-designed air conditioning system and we are only too happy to help.
When Cineflix Productions Ltd made the decision to open a new suite of offices in London WC1, 361 Degrees were set the challenge of designing and installing a full HVAC system in what was once the London General Omnibus Company building – originally built for 19th century transport vehicles and horses.
Cineflix Productions chose to retain the inspiring character of the building with full height open ceilings throughout the new office layouts. The solution 361 Degrees designed utilised leading Mitsubishi Electric heating and cooling equipment, complete with the most recent versions of government-approved heat pump renewable energy units.
The space, with its open ceilings, lent itself perfectly to an industrial design, with all ductwork, HVAC air handling units, grilles and diffusers on full display. This meant Cineflix Productions were able to take advantage of state-of-the-art technology, while preserving the personality of the building.
By installing both heating and air conditioning equipment that operates in conjunction with the new fresh-air ventilation system, 361 Degrees provided the perfect solution to allow staff at Cineflix Productions to work in a comfortable and oxygenised office environment all day, every day.
